’Tis the season for some pretty dope gift-giving

Bicycle Locks!

First up, we got lots and lots of locks. The cyclist you adore is probably tired of lugging front tires around or detaching their e-bike battery.

Get ‘em a nice, sturdy, ol’ fashioned lock for some added protection and peace of mind. Not sure where to get started? Check out our guide to bicycle locks, it’ll unlock some insider secrets.

Bicycle Apparel!

We got cycling shirts, shorts, hats, and more! Depending on where your beloved cyclist lives, you might want to invest in some weather-proof apparel.

It’ll make their ride a little smoother and maybe entice them to get out on the road if they haven’t in a while.

Bicycle Accessories!

Sunglasses, water bottle cages, wheel covers, handlebar mirrors, tire pumps — honestly the list goes on and on.

If they’re into synching their rides up with apps, consider a bicycle phone mount. Do they cycle to work? Try a frame bike bag, carry-on case, or waterproof mobile phone holder.

Cycling Electronics!

This is basically a list of accessories, but a little cooler and with more batteries.

Got a cyclist who loves to race or compete in your life? Gift them a GPS or ride tracker. Does your sibling ride to work every day? Get ‘em a bike-mounted flashlight so they aren’t left in the dark come daylight savings.

What about that fun-loving bike messenger cousin of yours? Definitely the LED bicycle spoke lights.

Bicycle Registries!

Up next we got bicycle registrations. This will take a little detective work because you’ll need to know your cyclist’s:

  • Bike model and/or make
  • Basic contact information
  • Bicycle serial number

Once you have all that, you can help them register their bicycle online. Doing so helps increase their chances of recovering their bike in case it’s ever stolen.

Most of the time it’s free and you can register with companies like Bike Index or 529 Garage. Also, check with local government agencies or if they’re a student, check with their university or college.

Don’t know what a serial number is or where to find it? We’ve got a guide for that!

Want some step-by-step directions on how to register a bicycle? We got you covered there, too.

Bicycle Insurance!

Now we’re getting into the good stuff. This not only checks something off your cyclist’s to-do list, but it’s also something likely to surprise them.

With policies starting at just $100 a year, it’s never been easier to keep your cyclist covered in case of:

  • Theft
  • Injury
  • Collision or crash
  • Liability
  • And more
